Also used for male prostate health, Saw Palmetto has been shown to aid in hair growth.  Procerin has in its ingredients a large amount of Saw Palmetto, an amount which is sufficient to treat male pattern baldness. Saw palmetto does this by blocking the enzyme DHT (Dihydrotestosterone). DHT is believed to stimulate hair loss by contracting the hair folliciles and making it impossible for hair to grow through them.
